Toyota has found itself in hot water due to problems occurring with their vehicles, but it has recently been brought to the public’s attention that the automotive giant knew about these problems since 2002.

This is an unfortunate but necessary wake up call for the automobile industry.

At the time of discovery, Toyota issued a technical service bulletin to all Toyota dealers across the country explaining that “some 2002 model year Camry vehicles may exhibit a surging during light throttle input at speeds between 38-42 mph.” In other words, the cars continuously accelerate without the driver’s control.
