The Verizon iPad

Verizon is selling the iPad and AT&T is no longer the exclusive carrier of Apple products. On October 28th, Verizon began offering the iPad with an optional mobile WiFi device, called “MiFi.” Now, Verizon is ready to promote their Apple affiliation to the public.

A new commercial from Verizon has been released which should be focusing on the idea that you can avoid huge data charges by using their mobile “MiFi” device wherever you are. Apple iPad Killing Laptops

Apple’s ongoing success with their new iPad is doing more than bringing in revenue for the technology giant.

 

 

 According to Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn in a Huffington Post article, the iPad has reduced sales of laptops by a startling 50%.

The success of the device is redefining the entire demographic for portable computing and providing a mid-range option for niche technology users. In other words, people who don’t need the functions of a full computer can save money and enjoy an iPad.

On Monday, June 7th, Apple CEO Steve Jobs presented the newest version of the iPhone.  The new iPhone 4 will be released to the public on June 24 and Jobs feels “…it’s the biggest leap we’ve taken since the original iPhone.”

WorldView Technology: Apple iPad

The iPad works if you want it for the right reasons.

Apple has always seemed to create the easiest technology to use, but major selling points for some people can be serious limitations for others.

Let’s take iTunes, for example. Having used the program for many years, I can say that it features the easiest interface, as far as media organization goes, that I have used. At the same time, any music I purchase on iTunes cannot be used in any media players except those from Apple, unless I change the format of the music files.
